Invitational Chorus Program

In an effort to support music education and great performances in Central Illinois, the PACC annually recognizes outstanding efforts in the field of choral music education/performance through a program that showcases outstanding choral ensembles in Central Illinois.  Selected choirs are awarded a performance at either the American Family Christmas Concert or the Spring Show which are both held at the Peoria Civic Center Theater.  Schools and students benefit from this program through the exposure and experience gained by performing in a professional concert venue.  The Civic Chorale has had the honor of featuring the following outstanding choral programs and their directors:  Dunlap High School, East Peoria Community High School Eureka High School, Galesburg High School, J.D. Darnall High School, LaSalle-Peru Township High School, Metamora Township High School, Pekin High School, and Richwoods High School.
