Anna Joy Buegel Anna Joy Buegel is a 17-year-old homeschooled senior living in Washburn with her parents, Pastor Charles and Sue Buegel, and three siblings, Matt, Luke and Beth.  Anna has loved music for as long as she can remember, first finding a passion for song in her home and church.  Upon moving to the Peoria area five years ago, Anna found PACC and its outreach as a way to branch out and develop musically.  She has enjoyed and appreciated the training and opportunities she received in Youth Chorus under Julie Clemens, the help and direction from Beth Rock, Dr. Joseph Henry and others, as well as the learning experiences and fun she had during Summer Chorale Camp at Eureka College the past three years.  For all these opportunities she is truly grateful.  Other musical highlights include singing in Peoria Cooperative Academy High School Chorale and Madrigals, IMEA District and Honors Choirs, the Illinois NATS competition, various Gilbert and Sullivan productions, and the Bradley Piano Competition.  Anna would like to thank her parents for their patience and support, her amazing voice instructor, Shirley Salazar, for her interest and guidance, her awesome piano teacher, Pam Bates, for her instruction and time, and, most of all, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving her a voice and a love of music. “I will sing to the Lord for He has dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:6

Zach Shrout Zach Shrout is a 17-year-old senior at Metamora Township High School.  Zach has studied voice from both Aaron and Cory Ganschow and has recently started lessons with Shirley Salazar.  He started his journey in music with his junior high choirs and took part in solo and ensemble contests and the PACC Festival Choir.  By the time his high school career began, Zach was involved in the freshman men’s choir and the school-auditioned choir (Splendoris) currently under the direction of Todd Cheek.  One of his favorite activities in school is having the opportunity to act and sing in the Madrigal dinners for the fourth year in a row.  He has participated in IMEA District for four years and the IMEA All-State Honors choir his junior year.  Zach has participated in shows like High School Musical, Peter Pan, and The Sound of Music at MTHS, and has played lead roles in Eastlight Theatre’s High School Musical 2 and in the recent production of Cinderella.  In the future, Zach plans to go to a four-year college and major in music education and performance.  He would like to thank God and the encouragement he has received from music directors, voice teachers, and most importantly, his family.
