Peoria Area Civic Chorale exists to develop, create, produce and
perform a diverse repertoire of the highest quality vocal and choral
music presented in the most professional manner for the enjoyment,
entertainment, aesthetic enrichment and education of its members, its
audience and those who live in the communities it serves.
Welcome the beauty and excitement of a new spring season by joining Conductor David German
and the Peoria Area Civic Chorale in the glorious setting of the new Grace Presbyterian Church
as they present “Make a Joyful Noise – Celebrating Our Faith and Freedom”.
Please make plans to join the chorale on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at 7:30pm, as they perform
powerful and majestic anthems by Bach, Haydn, Mozart and Vaughn Williams.
Hear your favorite inspirational spirituals including “Ride the Chariot”, “Wade in de Water”,
“Joshua Fit de Battle” and many more. The evening concludes with a celebration of our freedom
as you listen to stirring arrangements such as “God Bless America”, “This is My Country”,
and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
We also welcome special guest Carl Anderson and a wonderful brass choir as accompaniment to the
Civic Chorale, along with John Clark on the Steinway Concert Grand and Four Manual Custom Allen
Organ. It’s an evening of music you won’t want to miss.
Ticket prices are $24.00 for adults and $12.00 for students.
Group rates of $20.00 per ticket for groups of 10 or more.
Please contact the Peoria Civic Chorale box office at 693-6725 for tickets.
